I took today off from my 9-5 to get a couple of major cleaning projects done, with none of the boys under my feet. I learned an important lesson today, and feel I owe it to you, dear readers, to share it with you. Learn from my mistakes/horror/laziness.
So, here is my housecleaning tip of the week:
Either shampoo your carpets once a month like my grandmother did.
Or don't do it at all. Hire someone if you must.
Or better yet, switch it all over to some nice healthy, easy hardwood.
I AM SO GROSSED OUT I COULD PUKE
and, no, don't bother asking me how long it's been, cuz I just won't answer
"too long" is clearly the only answer that counts
