Comfort for Your Feet - Nature's Sleep Makes Slippers

Here's something to know about me - my feet are always cold. And our house is all hardwood and tile floors, so barefoot is not an option for me. Slippers are my best friend.

(Also, the fact that I'm not such a good housekeeper kind of makes slippers necessary. Walking barefoot on the crumbs in my kitchen ain't any fun.)

With this in mind I was delighted to try out the new slippers from Nature's Sleep. Known for their sleep solutions, including mattresses and pillows made with their Visco Elastic Memory Foam, Nature's Sleep has now applied this technology to supporting our tootsies with their line of memory foam slippers.

Visco memory foam is actually "rocket science" as it was originally developed by NASA for use in astronauts' suits. The memory foam naturally molds to your body (or feet) for a customised and truly supportive experience.

I chose to try the Open-Toe Terry Slippers with Memory Foam in the Mocha colour. (Pink is pictured here.) I got the smallest size (small) because I wear a woman's 5 1/2 shoe. Since these are Unisex sizes, they are maybe a little bigger than ideal, but I find them very comfortable and they don't fall off or anything. The memory foam sole is soft and thick. After a week I can see the slight indent where it remembers my big toe. The terry is so comfortable and warm, so even my cold feet feel great. The outer sole is made of thermoplastic rubber, with a textured tread. I like it because it is sturdy and I feel confident wearing these to run outside to put out the garbage or get the mail.

Right now you can use this special code BEARS50 to get 50% off anything on the website, including their mattresses, pillows, pet beds, slippers, and more.

And, Nature's Sleep is kindly offering a free pair of their new Memory Foam Slippers to one lucky Raising My Boys reader. You can enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. Contest is open to both US & Canada. Entries will be accepted until Midnight (EDT), May 13, 2012.

Good luck!
