My Feeding Friend Nursing Pillow #Giveaway

When I was nursing  Little Boo, I didn't have a special nursing pillow. I used a variety of pillows and stuffed toys to support him, more or less effectively, over time. Many options left much to be desired.

Mom of four, Julie Menconi, felt the same way about the nursing pillow options open to her. But, unlike me, she did something about it. One day when she grabbed a stuffed animal to use as support, she got the idea of developing a new, grow-with-me, cute and cozy nursing pillow.

This idea has grown into line of four adorable feeding friends. The pillows serve as a nursing pillow, support as baby learns to sit, a toddler’s first bedtime friend and a meaningful keepsake and cherished toy for many years to come. Her company, My Feeding Friend, offers these friends through their online shop at $39.99 US each. They have a dalmation, tiger, monkey, and turtle. The animals are all 41 inches long and 20-22 inches in circumference.

I love the idea that these feeding friends begin as a nursing pillow (or perhaps even as a body pillow to support your pregnant belly), providing comfort and support while you feed your baby (bottle or breast). But then as your baby grows, this special friend becomes their plaything and keepsake. Just imagine the memories that would be embodied in this!

What do you think? Are you pregnant or a nursing mom? Or know someone who would love a Feeding Friend of their own? One lucky reader of Raising My Boys will be receiving a My Feeding Friend of their choice (subject to availability).  Entry is via the Rafflecopter widget below, and contest is open to both US and Canadian residents (excluding Quebec). Entries will be accepted until 12:00 midnight EDT, Saturday Sept. 8.

Good luck!
