I'm trying desperately to clear out all the
crap wonderful memory pieces we've accumulated over the last 6 months or so. This is becoming a serious issue, as I NEED to get my tree up, and I currently can't find a floor space to put it. Anyhoo. Due to a series of circumstances and the craziness our family has been facing the last while, I still (until today) had not gone through all the drawings and worksheets that Little Boo brought home from Kindergarten and daycare at the end of June.
There were so many amazing and wonderful (to me only I'm sure) things in there - evidence of his growing skills in writing and math, evidence of his undying love for me and for his video games (not necessarily in that order). But this little gem from daycare totally took the cake.
Just in case you're unsure of what you are seeing, this little masterpiece from my 6 year-old reads:
"You will start in a tummy. Then you will come out. Then you will grow up."
Pretty straightforward, hey? And check out the size of that preggers belly! I think she's ready to pop.
Can you see the little baby figure? Took me a minute to figure out that part of the illustration.
At any rate, I have no idea how this drawing came about.or what they were talking about in class to prompt it. I'm just glad that it all started already in the tummy!
