HGG2012 - OutSmart

board game

Games are a fun way to bring people together. Family game night is a wonderful way to spend some unplugged time with your kids, of course. But inviting friends over for a night of gaming fun and giggles is a great alternative for a grown-up get-together as well.

OutSmart is a new, fun and fast-paced game, geared for ages 8 and up, that is suitable for family play, but would definitely appeal to the more mature audience. The game is simple- one question, many answers but only originality counts! For instance- “Which countries have won soccer’s World Cup title?” Everyone writes down their answers but you only get a point for a correct answer that no one else comes up with. In this game, it is all about outsmarting your opponents!

Creativity and guessing are certainly encouraged, and you don't necessarily need to know the answers in order to get some right by chance. But because you do need correct answers to score points and eventually win the game, I think I would recommend this game for a teenaged and up crowd. The entertainment factor in incorrect answers is even more fun than winning in this game :)

Whether you're thinking of a gift for a hard-to-buy-for friend, a hostess gift, or are looking for something different to do with the gals when they come over for a festive beverage over the holidays, OutSmart could be what you're looking for.
