Canadian Children's Group of the Year and new stars of Treehouse TV, Splash'N Boots, are vying to have their music video air on CBC through the Great Kids' CBC Viewer Voted Song Search.
Public voting open now until May 8th at http://www.cbc.ca/parents/songsearch/.
Not only can the performers win a national TV airing of their video, there's also many great prizes available to voters – including a trip for four to Toronto to CBC Kids' Day in July, as well as many other weekly prizes. The winning performer in the Song Search contest will be the one with the greatest number of public votes. Voting is permitted once per day, and the chances of winning prizes increases the more one votes.
“It would be such an honour to have our video air on CBC and we are thrilled to be part of this contest,” says Taes (pronounced 'Tess') who is the group's 'Boots'. “Our fans have already shown so much support since the contest began, and as always, we are extremely grateful.”
The voting process is as follows:
1. Find the Splash'N Boots Photo... Click on the “Play” button to listen to their song.
2. Click on the “Vote” button under their image.
3. Enter your email address on the form, and then check your email for a security code.
4. Enter the security code on the form and fill out your information.
5. “Submit” your vote.
A few steps, but easy, right? If you love Splash 'N Boots like we do, please head on over and give them a vote. And, if you haven't heard their music, go check them out and decide for yourself! The clip on the CBC contest website is "Dinosaurs in My Kitchen," which is one of my faves!
