Nurture Photography Photo Challenge - Yellow/Easter

I received a wonderful present this past Christmas - a real camera. Hubs got me a Nikon D3200 DSLR, with an extra lens, back-up battery, camera case and all. ( I may have dropped a hint at some point, but still - he caught it!) I am loving getting to know my camera and exploring its various settings and abilities. I've been eyeing some photo challenges that are floating around these interwebs, as a way to motivate myself to keep shooting and learning. But so many have daily prompts, and I am way too flighty these days for that kind of commitment. So, I was pleased last week to stumble upon this Nurture Photography Spring 2013 challenge, which provides weekly prompts from April 5-May 17. Weekly, I can do. Short time commitment, I can do. I'm in!

This week's prompt is Yellow/Easter.

This challenge is hosted by Project Alicia, Bumbles and Light, and Live and Love Out Loud. Thanks to my friend Kim from All Work and No Play Makes Mommy Go Something Something for bringing it to my scattered attention.
