Mark's Has a Pant Fit for You & Every Gal {Review & Giveaway}

It's not quite as painful as swimsuit or bra shopping, but it can be pretty aggravating. Shopping for that perfect pair of pants. Inseam length, leg profile, high-rise, low-rise, mid-rise, does the waist gap at the back? It can take a lot of experimenting in the fitting room before you find the right ones that flatter your figure.  For me, I have a really short inseam, a curvy bottom, fairly ample thighs, and a belly that's bigger than I'd like. So, I'm looking for a pant that will accommodate and flatter my curves, while not making me look even shorter than I am.  And I don't tend to have a lot of time to fool around trying on multiple styles. I'm a busy mom who is not particularly fond of shopping. (Yep, I said it.) So, when a store comes out with a way to simplify my shopping, I really appreciate it.

I was invited to attend an event with Mark's last week, where I got to experience their new Women's Pant Fit line. I haven't shopped there in a couple of years (remember, I am not a shopper!), so I thought I've give them a try.

First off - the collection is so much more fashionable than I remember. Gorgeous sweaters, a huge variety of pant options, and even jewelry! But I was there to test out the pants, so I tried to focus.

The new Women’s Pant Fit line is designed to fit your body type, and is organised into four fit categories - Mia (mid-rise), Lola (low-rise), Hanna (high-rise), and Chloe (curvy). All of the women's pants at Mark's are now designed into one of these four profiles, and are clearly labelled to help you find them. The first step is to find your fit, either by answering three questions online, or by heading into the store. The quiz told me I'm a Chloe, which made sense to me, but I tried on all four profiles just to get a feel for the differences.

The Chloe was a perfect fit for my form, hugging my curvy bottom nicely, while the waistline sat flat across my back. Awesome! This profile is designed for a smaller waist and larger bottom, so it is right up my alley. The Lola was actually a close second, as its lower rise sat nicely across my hips. The Mia and Hanna didn't sit right on my figure, so I knew instantly that pants in those profiles were out.

See? I just eliminated whole racks of pants from my shopping experience! Time and frustration saved.

Knowing that Chloe and Lola are my best options, I can then just focus in on those, shortening my time in the store and eliminating a lot of unnecessary looking and trying on. I like anything that makes my day more efficient! And, if you are shopping online, you can filter your results by these four profiles, again narrowing in on only the most relevant options. Plus, you can feel confident shopping online within your fit profile, knowing you'll get a good pant for your body.

In the end I took home a pair of the CHLOE curvy fit Vintage skinny jeans, in black. They fit like a glove and are super soft and comfortable. I also appreciate that Mark's does three inseam lengths in their women's bottoms, so I am able to take home a 29 inch inseam and not have to hem.

Like the sweater? That's Mark's as well. Naturally I had to buy it. Soft, cozy, and I love the asymmetrical detailing and the buttons.
