Splash 'N Boots Are Back and "Keeping It Green" {Review & Giveaway)

Great news for fans of fun, upbeat and contagious children's music - Splash 'N Boots is back with a new CD release - "Keepin' It Green." This time around they've partnered with leading Ottawa-based conservationist, Little Ray (director of Eastern Ontario's largest exotic animal rescue, Little Ray's Reptile Zoo) to present a collection of 10 original songs, all dedicated to conservation of endangered species and our environment.

“We are so excited about this collaboration with Little Ray,” says Nick, the group's 'Splash'. “Conservation is an important topic today, so we are happy to help educate our fans through our music.”

“This Splash'N Boots album is a great vehicle to further educate kids and parents alike about endangered species and conservation,” says Paul “Little Ray” Goulet, Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo's Director. “We are thrilled that visitors at our zoo will be able to listen to this album at home and continue learning after leaving our facility.”

As you'd expect, all of the songs on this disc are catchy and fun, since Splash 'N Boots have a great sound that really appeals to both kids and parents. I'm a little torn as to my favourite song - "Tiger Beetlemania" because it's kind of reminiscent of early Beatles or the Monkees? Or maybe "Spotted Turtle," a gentle song of motherhood? Then there's also "Recycle! (Everybody Wins)" with some concrete ideas for kids and their parents on how we can apply the three Rs into our daily lives.
There's lots to enjoy here, and lots of inspiration to start talking with our kids about endangered species and keeping our earth healthy.

"Keepin' It Green" is available at Little Ray's Reptile Zoo locations across Canada and at A portion of all proceeds from “Keepin' It Green” will help support conservation initiatives in your community!
