Ontario Science Centre
OSC this weekend. The new special exhibit, Sesame Street Presents the Body is perfect for the preschool set, learning about the body, health and nutrition with all of their favourite characters. (You can see my pictures here.) The older kids will enjoy AstraZeneca's Human Edge, which delves into the wonders of the human body and our amazing athletes - a nice tie-in with the Olympics. Honda is also presenting "Science on 2 Wheels," which investigates the physics behind bikes and motorcycles. Visitors between 18 months and 5 years old are invited to learn new skills and practice balancing and body awareness in the "Strider Rider" area.
Evergreen Brick Works

On Monday, the Evergreen Brick Works is hosting a Family Skate Day, from 10am-4pm. Get outdoors and enjoy free public skating, special nature and heritage hikes, and a meet and greet with Vicky Sunohara, a three-time women’s ice hockey Olympian. Vicky will be giving out signed hockey pucks from 11am–1pm.
