Featuring an incredible bird of prey exhibit and free flight bird of prey demos from the Canadian Raptor Conservancy, as well as fossil skulls from some of the most famous prehistoric reptiles and dinosaurs, Dinosaurs Past and Present will demonstrate the remarkable similarities between dinosaurs, pterosaurs, birds, and crocodiles, and will also feature a very special guest: Jack, the red kangaroo.
“We're thrilled to be coming to Ancaster with this live, educational, interactive, hands-on, zoological exhibit,” says Paul “Little Ray” Goulet, the zoo’s Director. “We love educating visitors of our exhibits and allow them to get up close and personal with some of the world's most fascinating species.”
With over 8 species of birds of prey on exhibit including owls, eagles, falcons, hawks and vultures all flying inches above your head, the exhibit will also feature a 7.5′ Triceratops skull, a 4′ Mososaur skull, as well as ‘LIZ’, a 38′ long full T-Rex skeleton.
Little Ray's Reptile Zoo will also be featuring their ‘Crocodiles of the World’ exhibit, including 5 species of living crocodilians and a 7′ alligator that people can have an opportunity to interact with throughout the day in a safe and controlled environment.
This exhibit will be open at the Ancaster Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 12th, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday, April 13th, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tickets are $10 per person; 2 and under are free; $35 per family of four & $8 per additional family member.
