My mother always had a huge collection of purses. They'd be carefully stacked on the shelf in her closet, and there was one for every outfit. But I'm not sure she actually switched them out all that often - there was always a fave. For me, I'm far too
lazy busy to switch out my purses ever. I have a large one for when I need to carry extra stuff and a smaller one for every day. Every day. Other than those, I switch when a purse wears out. But sometimes it would be really nice to change up my look a bit, whether to match an outfit, the season, or an event. Or maybe just even my mood.
And that's where Miche comes in.
The bags come in Petite, Classic, Demi, and Prima. You can think of the Prima as more of a tote, the Petite as an evening bag, and then the Classic and Demi as small and large purses. The Petite and Classic bags work with "wrap-around" shells that literally wrap around the base bag, as shown above, or "slip-on" shells that add extra storage with side pockets. The Demi and Prima have slip-on shells only.
For this review I received a petite base bag with the "Sarah" wrap-around shell. The petite measures 4" wide x 8" long x 6" tall. I found it a great size for an evening out - wallet, brush, lipstick, phone, and still some room left. There is one elasticized inside pocket that is perfect for your keys and lipstick to keep them close to hand. I love the look of the chain on the 20" handle, but did find it had a tendency to attach itself to the magnetic strip at the top of the bag when you laid it down. Not anything to worry about.
The Miche line has a great variety of shells, from conservative through wild animal prints. You can have a look at the collection here. Colour, pattern, materials - there's so much to choose from. I love how easy it is to change your look without transferring the contents of your purse. Plus, the shells take up so much less space than a full purse, and naturally cost less as well. So you can afford to have lots of options in your closet! Saving space, money, and time. Sounds good to me!
