Netflix Has Great Options for "Mommy Time" #StreamTeam

After a long day of entertaining the kids on summer vacation, or just a long day of fending off their questions and requests, Mom deserves a little down time for herself. You might like to enjoy a glass of wine on the back deck as you enjoy a nice breeze and the chirping of crickets. Or maybe you can take some time to lose yourself in a great story. Netflix has lots of options for moms of different tastes. Hey! Maybe you can grab your tablet and take that out to the deck with you wine for a little al fresco viewing. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Titles you've heard about, but haven't had time to watch:

I reviewed OITNB earlier this month. Binge watching that one while Boo is in school is my guilty pleasure. But with just three episodes to go, it's time to plan the next addiction. Of course, he's now out of school, so my Mommy Time will be moved back to later at night once he's asleep, or whenever I can farm him out on a playdate. I need some time for my own interests after all.

Hubs and I have been watching Sherlock and are really impressed. Benedict Cumberbatch is all kinds of geeky hotness in this one. The stories are well-written, and the acting is great. I especially like that each season is just 3 episodes, but each episode is 90 minutes long, so you're getting essentially a short movie each time.

Sleeper hits you may have missed:

I have to be honest, I don't like Shameless at all, but you might. I watched some of Weeds when it was on network TV way back when, and I loved it. Considering that Weeds and OITNB are created by the same folks - not surprised I love both! I should really go back and watch that one all the way through. And Call the Midwife is definitely on my list, based on the buzz I've been hearing.

Disclosure: I am a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam program, and receive special perks as part of my involvement. I was not financially compensated for this post.
