We had picnics on the beach and attended street festivals with face painting and fun rides. We fed groundhogs on a hike and built a gnome home in our backyard.
We spent a day at Canada's Wonderland. More rides, a little Snoopy, and lots of dinosaurs.
We even went on safari! At African Lion Safari we watched elephants play in the water, and giraffes and zebras graze in a field. Boo had fun in the waterpark, and we fed goats in the petting zoo. Of course we had to take a selfie there.
And we made a quick trip to Niagara Falls one afternoon, just to visit the Butterfly Conservatory. It's one of my favourite spots. We love to watch the butterflies and learn about how they develop from caterpillars, how they feed, and more. This was a totally spur of the moment adventure, which made it even more fun. A little spontaneity is good for the soul.
I put together this photo strip with the #KinderSmiles app on the Kinder Canada Facebook Page. It's cute, right? Like a photo booth. You can share your own summer smiles if you're a fan of the page.
Step 1: Fan KINDER® on Facebook
Step 2: Start your photo-strip
Step 3: Upload your photos
Step 4: Choose a fancy KINDER® frame
Step 5: Choose a filter (you can make yourself look silly)
Step 6: Save & share
Add #kindersmiles to any photo-strip you share and you can see your smile in the app’s gallery view.
Kinder Canada will be at the CNE all this weekend (August 30-September 1) with a special, custom-designed Smile Booth. They'll be in the Kids Zone, so be sure to drop by for a picture if you're there. And don't forget about the Guinness World Record attempt on Saturday morning at the Bandshell Park.
