I remember shopping at Sears with my mom when we were getting ready to head back to school each year, and now I do the same thing with Boo. Sears is really a Canadian back to school tradition. With such a variety of top brands, and the ability to pick up backpacks and sneakers along with your jeans , you can get a lot accomplished with one stop.

Boo is a t-shirt and jeans guy most days, and he loves a good licensed tee. Sears has all his faves, like Marvel, Angry Birds, Star Wars, Nintendo, and Lego. He may just need a new Mario tee for this year, and we know where to find it! With brands like Levis, Converse, Skechers, and Nike, your little guy can head back in high style, at a sensible price.
But sensibly priced or not, back to school is an expensive time, and it can be prohibitive for many families. That's why Sears Canada is partnering with Converse to provide $10,000 worth of back to school apparel to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC). BGCC is the leading provider of quality after school programs that support the healthy physical, educational, social and mental development of Canadian children and youth. Sears shares Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s philosophy that providing all Canadian children and youth with access to opportunity is essential to helping them achieve their full potential and create a better future and has been a proud supporter for over 40 years.
Sears has also been giving back to their customers this month with in-store surprises at the checkout. To help kids Rock the Halls this fall, they've been surprising shoppers by providing them their purchases for free! Can you imagine getting up to the cash, wallet out, and being told "No, it's all good." Pretty awesome. I love the reactions of the shoppers in this video!
As well, Sears Canada will be rewarding their Facebook fans by surprising them throughout the month of August with opportunities to win a $100 Sears gift card. If you haven't already liked them, head over now! Watch for your chances to win!
