How White Are Your Winter Whites? {Giveaway|

pine tree covered in snow icicles

It's snowing here today. I lit the first fire of the season in the fireplace, turned on some Christmas tunes, and sipped on a rummy eggnog, while wrapped in my cozy cardigan. I guess winter mode has officially set in. There will be many more fires to come, and more time spent indoors. I'm not a fan of the cold, and it's been many years since I enjoyed playing in the snow. Boo isn't a big fan either, so, although we'll make a snowman or two, and probably go sledding with friends, we'll likely not spend a lot of time out playing in the white stuff. He gets his fill of that on recesses at school.

But, in spite of my vocal distaste for winter, I do love a sunny day and fresh-fallen, glistening, white snow. It is just so startlingly pretty. Especially if there's a nice layer of sparkly ice on the trees. That's the type of winter day I can get into. Throw on my snowpants, scarf and hat and head out for a quiet walk in the woods, or even just around the neighbourhood, to see who else has crawled out from hibernation. And Christmas always seems merrier with a layer of pretty, white snow on the ground.

mmm... eggnog

And speaking of Christmas, I guess I'd better start figuring out the social schedule, parties and get-togethers, entertaining, open houses ,,, it gets to be a busy time. I know of two or three events so far, including a brunch I'm hosting for my besties.  There'll be mimosas and strata and sweets and bacon. Definitely bacon. We'll do our gift exchange as well and just generally have a chance to catch up. I can't wait!

With all of the socialising coming up over the holidays, we want to look and feel our best.  How white are my teeth? Can they compete with that glistening snow? And gosh I hope all my stemware is spot-free. Having the right products for the job is important, and Church and Dwight have some great options for your beauty routine, laundry, dental hygiene, and kitchen chores.
