Family Fun in Midtown - Mount Pleasant BIA Kids' Fun Day, May 9, 2015 #MPVKidsFunDay

Although we live in the East end of Toronto, I do spend a lot of time in Midtown. It's a short drive, and there's lots of great shopping and dining. Coffee shops, pubs, fine dining, cupcakes, toy stores, antiques and more. Parking may require a little more planning, but the great community feel of walking and shopping the streets of the area definitely make it worthwhile.

If you're looking for something a little different to do with the family in Toronto this weekend, why not head to midtown and check out the Mount Pleasant Village BIA's 3rd annual Kids' Fun Day? It's happening on Saturday, May 9, from 11am-4pm. The events take place on Mount Pleasant, between Eglinton and Davisville.

Attractions include:
Happy Face Bouncy Castle
Lego Building Competition
Skate & Scooter Park
Interactive Community Art Installation
Restaurant Grilled Cheese Competition
Puppet Shows
Clay Workshops
Face Painting
and more!

There will be discounts and giveaways offered by various merchants, and lots of games and entertainment to enjoy. And food! Never forget the food! Saturday's forecast is calling for highs of 22 degrees and a mix of sun and clouds, with the chance of a few showers. Sounds like a great day to be outside! Don't forget your hats and sunscreen, and your water bottles. Plan to arrive early to find parking, either on Mount Pleasant or one of the residential side streets. Be sure you check the signs for parking regulations though!
