Celebrate the Holidays with #NetfliXmas #StreamTeam {giveaway}

Kids today have it great; there are just so many ways to watch your favourite shows whenever you want. Back in the 70s, when I was growing up, you had to study the TV Guide and be sure to be at home and in front of the TV at the right time. And you likely only had the one TV and had to fight for control of it. The situation was even more dire around the holidays - your favourite special might only air once. If you missed it, you were out of luck until next year.

Boo has no idea how lucky he is. In the mood for Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury or Merry Madagascar? Pop on the Netflix app and go mad. Watch 5 times in a row if you want. It's all good.

And there's lots more holiday fun to check out as well.  Jim Carrey's Grinch, or maybe Santa Paws for your next family movie night? Or for an edgier Christmas, try The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Do you have particular holiday traditions involving shows and movies? We like to curl up under a blanket with egg nog and shortbread cookies to watch our favourite seasonal shows. And we'll definitely have a pajama day over the Christmas break where it will be all about festive family films. Enjoying favourite shows together creates great memories your kids will cherish as they grow up, and with the convenience of Netflix, making those memories has never been easier.

Here are a few more Netflix ideas for your holiday viewing:
