Cars 3 Pre-Screening Giveaway!

CARS 3: Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo), with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

Directed by Brian Fee (storyboard artist “Cars,” “Cars 2“), produced by Kevin Reher (“A Bug’s Life,” “La Luna” short) and co-produced by Andrea Warren (“LAVA” short), “Cars 3” cruises into theatres on June 16, 2017.

This one feels like it's been a long time coming. We first met Lightning McQueen and the gang back in 2006. My eldest was 10 years old and loved it. Five years later, Cars 2 came out, and five year old Michael was so excited! He'd seen the original on DVD so many times and had every toy imaginable (or so it seemed to me as I tripped over them all.)  Fast forward another six years, and I'm looking forward to bringing my now 11 year old to see Cars 3. He pretended to not care about this new sequel, but when I told him we were going to a preview next week, I got a huge smile and thumbs up. I don't expect to have to buy the toys, but I feel confident we're going to have a great time, and will pick up the movie when it comes out on digital download.

Meanwhile, I am very interested to see how they bring this new story to life with an aging Lightning attempting a come-back. Sally, Mater, Luigi, all our old faves will be back. Even Chick Hicks makes a return. I wonder has he mellowed?

Here's a trailer you can share with your kids.
